As our team reflected on 2021, we talked a lot about growth and excitement. The year brought new challenges and opportunities – at times we were uncertain how we’d traverse it all. But we did. Each week, we’d ask ourselves, “did we win the week?” In this yearly reflection, we’re thrilled to say the team won the year.
A key piece to that winning was the tremendous growth and leadership we saw from our team. Every member of Social Tribe is a part of the A team – meaning the expectations are high and we push ourselves to stay ahead of the curve. Their work last year reflected that.
Each individual brings so much expertise, energy, and excitement, we can’t wait to see what the year holds for them. Here’s what excites them about their new roles and what they plan on bringing to the table:
Juliet O’Connor, Account Director
I could not be more excited to be taking on the role of Account Director here at Social Tribe. Over the past 6 years, I’ve watched this company grow and change and have had the pleasure to grow and change along with it. Our once tiny Tribe now has a client portfolio that is more diverse and innovative than ever before. As an Account Director, I will have the privilege to oversee the direction and growth of many of their programs and I am champing at the bit for the opportunity to really take a step back and focus on the vision and larger goals for those programs. Though I’ll admit, I will miss many of the day-to-day interactions, being able to make an even bigger difference for our clients is worth it! I can’t wait to see what we achieve this year.
Jackie O’Brien, Account + Strategy Director
I am most excited to continue to push the envelope across our agency’s accounts through creative, strategic solutions that deliver results. I look forward to building more audience-centric campaigns, innovative end-to-end experiences, turning our client’s customers into brand loyalists, and using data in real-time to bring value to our clients in entirely new ways.
Simran Jessel, Social Strategist + Account Lead
I’m excited to continue working closely with our clients to build and deliver data-driven, strategic social programs. We’re constantly innovating at Social Tribe, and there are always new ways for us to take our accounts to the next level. Part of my role as Social Strategist + Account Lead is to help identify and implement those opportunities. There’s a lot to look forward to!
Erin McClure, Account Lead
I’m really looking forward to being at the forefront of account relationships with our clients. As someone who is ALWAYS wondering, “Is this working?” and “Is there a better way to do this?”, getting to answer these questions for my clients is gratifying. Interacting with people, even remotely, energizes me and I enjoy checking in with our clients on a weekly basis to gauge the temperature of our relationship.
I’m also excited to continue managing clients we’ve had long relationships with. While other agencies or creatives may feel complacent when it comes to their long-term accounts, I actually experience the opposite. The more I know and work with people, the stronger our working relationship becomes and I am even more motivated to deliver services and results that please them.
The interactions I have with my clients always get my mental wheels turning with ideas to breathe new life into their digital presence and social strategy.
Kavya Pernankil, Influencer + Content Programs Manager
In my new role, I am really excited to take on new challenges by jumping into a side of the business that is new to me! I love that Social Tribe recognized the strength of combining my experience in Influencer programs and my ability to lead creative content programs. I look forward to continuing to build client relationships and bring my unique perspective to the table in order to push the boundaries of what is possible.
I also look forward to working more closely with internal team members that I haven’t had an opportunity to work with in the past. Social Tribe is filled with such bright and talented individuals – each person continues to teach me something new and wow me with their abilities and positive spirit.
